As a public charter school, ACA works with a relatively small budget. Faculty typically have dual roles and they rely on a strong community of volunteers. According to Mia Russo, Coordinator of Fundraising and Development, “Our Parent Teacher Organization has been incredibly instrumental in providing much needed resources, activities, and morale boosting celebrations for our students, parents, and staff. Through their generous donation of time, our parents send a positive message to all students about the importance of education.”
Their custom sock design features the ACA Pillar, which is inspired by the Greek education model they’ve structured their courses around. “It was one of our earliest symbols and is well-known imagery for our school.” The socks were knit in a classic Argyle pattern with ACA’s school colors. At Sock Club, we call them Kelly, Lagoon, Navy and Bleach. Check out ACA’s custom sock design mockup at the end of the blog!
“We are thrilled with the quality, the color selection, and the design choices. It's been a great experience from start to finish. We chose to give the socks as volunteer gifts, but you could certainly give them to students or staff, too. As far as education, custom socks are definitely a unique way to exhibit school pride.”
The crew here at Sock Club enjoyed working with ACA on a custom sock design for their volunteers. We did our best to provide four, free mockups that fully embraced the culture and mission of the school. We love the design they chose! Thanks for being such awesome clients to work with.
