We recently worked with Alimo on a pair of custom socks featured in their online shop so we caught up with Sean Kesterson, Alimo’s owner and resident art director, to talk about his Sock Club experience.
Alimo features surf-themed illustrations on sweatshirts, stickers and even air fresheners. All the artwork is born of Sean’s imagination and creativity so we enjoyed making socks for someone who has a creative background themselves. Sean said, “ They helped me understand restrictions in the sock process. In the beginning, I had no understanding of how socks were made and how the repeated pattern worked. Through trial and error + back and forth with Blakeley (Sock Club employee), we got my sock dialed in great.”
